We developed this kit while working on multiple Dodge 1 tons and 3/4 tons. The popularity of these work horse trucks has always got people wanting to lower them and put them on the ground. So that being said, we saw the opportunity to develop a kit that will help make the install of bit easier. The front kit is designed to run the factory spindles but you will need to reverse ream the lower ball joint hole and do some minor machining to accommodate for the ball joint being flipped to the underside of the spindle (you can reference photos in the gallery linked below). Another modification to the spindle, you will need to drill out the steering arm with a 5/8 drill bit to allow for bolting the new steering set up to the factory spindle. With this kit you will be provided with new upper control arm tabs to raise the upper control arms to help with camber from laying the truck out. The newly designed upper control arms are built to clear the factory turbo set ups on the 5.9 and 6.7 Cummins engine. The bag mounts that are provided with the kit pocket/ section into the factory frame rail to allow for the 3200LB airbag to help pick up the weight of the Cummins engine. The lower control arms are constructed from 1 1/2 .1888 DOM tubing for superior strength and to hold up the load on these heavy front ends.
